Small Changes Make a Huge Difference -

Nature is an awesome teacher. It has taught me how to thrive and survive on this planet earth by observing it’s laws…because I recognize those laws also apply to me.

Today I was reading a report on Hydrogen Peroxide by Dr. David Williams. It occurred to me while reading the report that the laws of chemistry as they applied to water and Hydrogen Peroxide, had another life lesson to teach.

The lesson: Small changes can make a big difference in chemical compositions and in life.

We all know that chemical symbol for water is (H2O) meaning that water is chemically made up of two atoms of hydrogen and one atom of oxygen. What I learned from Dr. Williams is that Hydrogen Peroxide (HP) is made up of two parts hydrogen and two parts oxygen (H2O2). The composition of this benign substance we call water is exactly the same as the composition of the powerful Hydrogen Peroxide except HP has on more atom of oxygen.

What I also learned is what a huge difference this one little atom of oxygen makes. It turns a benign substance into something powerful. Although I have used HP to cure athlete’s foot and gingivitis and killed the infection in cuts and wounds I learned today that I was just scratching the surface of the power of what HP can do because of this one tiny extra oxygen atom.

It is a safe insecticide and fungicide, it enhances plant growth, causes small arteries to dilate, it cures the symptoms of MS and is used as a oxygen source for rocket fuel and this is only scratching the surface of its power.

The point is, if one little change made to the water we drink changes it into a component of rocket fuel, little changes in our life can also have catastrophic effects.

Try this one: For one week every time you go to say something negative to someone. STOP that thought and find something positive to say to them instead.

Watch the monumental effects this one small change can have on your relationship, say with your spouse. Then see the positive effect that change has on your children. Then notice the positive effect they have on other children, the community etc.

Nature seems to be telling us through analogy that a small change in our lives can make a large difference by showing us the huge difference a small change in the composition of water can make by changing it to HP.

Silk Worm: A Metaphor for Transformation

Most of us have seen a caterpillar slowly inching its way along a tree branch concerned about only one thing—survival The caterpillar’s great goal in life is to find its next leafy meal.

Contrast that with the butterfly it is destined to become. The butterfly will be free to fly high and see wise to experience a magnificent view of the world not available to the caterpillar, to experience the feel of a flower under its feet, to taste the sweetness the nectar provides, to fly from flower to flower, bush to bush, and beyond.

Which would you rather be? Few would choose the caterpillar. The stage the caterpillar goes through before it becomes a butterfly is called the cocoon. It’s a dark and restrictive place, but a necessary one. A caterpillar can’t get from caterpillar to butterfly without going through the cocoon stage. So it is with us in our transformative journey. We, too, go through a cocoon stage that feels dark and restrictive and prepares us for transformation

This is now happening more frequently than ever on this planet. But rather than being fearful, know that it is a good thing. When that cocoon state, often called the dark night of the soul, occurs it means…it is time for our journey of transformation to begin. It means you’ve grown as big as you can in the caterpillar state. You are ready for something better.

As I think about you and everyone who is seeking answers it is clear there is a need to make sense of how to use our energy of the body, emotions and mind with more clarity. Clarity is a part of wisdom and insight.

We tend to run after things and money for a feeling of security. Does that bring lasting, stabilized security? It does not. You know that instinctively but the lure of using the law of attraction for increased income, a better car, a bigger or more fitting home, new employment or greater success all draw us in as seductive experiences but won’t really lead to complete fulfillment. Don’t misunderstand what I am saying, things are not bad or harmful. You must have them to survive in the world. But, let’s look at your motives to keep you on track with a deeper vision of real happiness.

What I propose is to gradually educate you on now to balance right thinking, right motive and right method in using the law of attraction to have, but not live for the having. If you use this sacred law for only having, then real happiness will escape you. And, I want you to have it all, not just the toys in life.

What if you can balance the physical-material needs with spiritual needs of transformation?

Is it possible to have a comfortable life, but live wisely? I believe it is.

For the next seven days, let’s meditate on the word balance for 10-15 minutes a day. The best time to meditate is in the morning before your day starts. The electromagnetic energy of the Earth is optimal in the early morning.

What does balance between living a life of having and developing your spiritual nature look life?

What are the qualities of a balanced person?

What is the purpose of balance? Certainly not to make money!

And, last but not least, what is the cause of balance?

After your meditations, write down the answers in order to ground them in the physical experience of your life and mind. Writing down the insights you have will create a bridge between your deeper self and personality.

Does balanced create a more lasting expression of success? Interesting notion.

Balance means healing in the truest sense. All we work for in the physical world passes away, decays, falls apart or becomes uninteresting to our ego very quickly. So what do you really want?

Manifesting your inner nature in life lasts forever.

Think of the cross as a symbol of balance!

I believe we instinctively know that integrity is essential for happiness, health, a good love relationship, wealth and prosperity. It is evident that the lack of integrity brings eventual destruction to many areas of our lives IF we do not have it in place.

The wealthy person eventually loses wealth without integrity either through employees who steal from him/her, the IRS and tax problems, business partners filing legal actions or bankruptcy.

When Christ said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will know God,” he was also referring to integrity. It is impossible to be close to God, or have real prosperity unless we are free from deceit, lies, deception, corruption and misleading ourselves or other.

Integrity means – integrated into a wholeness, being undivided by conflicting motives. The common meaning of integrity is often suggests our thoughts, words and actions are aligned forming one clear expression of honesty or truthfulness. And, this is correct, but if we dig deeper there are spiritual implications for the connection between the law of attraction and integrity.

Life does not support one person taking from others wrongfully to create well-being for themselves. Integrity acknowledges the needs of everyone for fulfillment, happiness and well-being where as lack of integrity is based solely on selfishness. Integrity is unconditional love in action, selfishness is divisive.

Integrity is a soul quality which unites you with your higher power, God and deepest self. Deceit is an ego based quality which leads to cracks in the consciousness. Have you ever heard the phrase, “I have lied to so many times I can’t remember what the truth is!”

Why is integrity often so rare today?

Integrity has become less valued in some circles, especially on reality shows, in the press and politically. We all witness people, or ourselves, lying to get what we want in the short term. But what about the long term benefit?

If you ask the for the right intentions to be fulfilled then whatever you receive or achieve will not block your progress towards long term happiness.

Make an effort to cultivate integrity each day. It is the best investment you can make in mastering the law of attraction.
